MISSION AND MEETING INFORMATION

Our mission is to provide members with opportunities to develop themselves through fellowship, education and networking, to meet or exceed their expectations both personally and professionally.

Professional development topics are as varied as public speaking, ergonomics, humour in the workplace, stress reduction, demonstrations of new technology, and member presentations.

Our meetings include a members’ forum when workplace issues and problems are discussed and solutions proffered by members.

Networking opportunities abound, both personally and professionally, and job postings from across Ontario are distributed to everyone.
  

Peel-Halton IAAP Chapter Meetings

Meetings are usually held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (September to June)

  • 6:00 p.m. Registration, Networking and Refreshments
  • 6:20 p.m. IAAP Business Meeting
  • 7:00 p.m. Program Presentation / Keynote Speaker
  • 7:45 p.m. Open Forum / Workplace Issues

Why choose Peel-Halton IAAP? 

Member Dues: $ 15.00 per meeting or $90.00 for the meeting year (Sept.-June). 
Guests may attend 3 meetings. There is no charge for the first meeting.

About IAAP

The International Association of Administrative Professionals is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide. Our mission is to enhance the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. The association founded in 1942 as the National Secretaries Association to provide a professional network and educational resources for secretarial staff. The association's name was changed in 1998 to the International Association of Administrative Professionals to encompass the large number of varied administrative job titles and recognize the advancing role of administrative support staff in business and government.
